DJing is an incredibly male dominated genre, and Rebecca & Fiona make up a tiny proportion of female DJs in the industry. The duo have exactly what it takes to make it however, and have been doing incredibly well in the last 2 years since they made their debut album I Love You Man.
They opened the show with Bullets, but after that, played through the album chronologically. It was awesome to see them play live, and to see them creating the mixes right in front of your eyes. The girls are incredibly enthusiastic, and were using the stage to their advantage. At one point, Rebecca stood on part of the DJ box to clap her hands and get everyone dancing.
The vibe was great with lots of respectful fans there to have a good time. When they played Hot Shots, the crowd went crazy, everyone was dancing along to the electro beats and getting into the well known track. As well as playing music from their records, the girls played one or two new tracks, which was cool to hear before they were released. The concert lasted well over 2 hours, and it passed so quickly, which must be a good sign! Not one person was standing still throughout the show. Shout out to the lighting and sounds guys too, it was a visually stunning show, and the acoustics were great!
