Jimmie Dale Gilmore

Jimmie Dale Gilmore is one of my long-time favorite artists. His music is wonderful and it's always fun to hear him chat about his songs/life experiences. The most recent concert we attended was a Father's Day show at The Kessler with his son, Colin Gilmore, the other 1/3 of the Flatlanders, Butch Hancock, and Butch's son, Rory Hancock. It was a great event, both location-wise and musically. Fabulous evening.

Fantastic show by both gentlemen. Could listen to them for hours and hours. Lots of old hits from JDG and especially touching versions of Borderland and Get Together (Cmon People Now).
Dave's vocals are force to be reckoned with.
Truly an unforgettable evening in a nice imtimate venue!

On Nov. 8, 2017, the Texas Troubadours project brought Ruthie Foster, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, and Carrie Rodriguez − three of the Lone Star State's finest — together at Vancouver’s Chan Centre for the Arts. A most memorable night of music.
