Saturday april 29. 2017 hard rock live Biloxi, ms. the concert was standing only, general admission-every spot was claimed-and then some!!! morris day and the time hit the stage and the crowd went into dance mode for the rest of the night. of course he did JUNGLE LOVE, and THE WALK, and THE BIRD, along with all the other dancing, moving, jumping, hopping songs. the crowd was in constant movement-mode the entire show, I wonder how many people woke up the next morning with sore muscles they didn't even know they had?? morris day is still the entertainer that he was back-in-the-day!! he still dresses in the snazzy suits with the handkerchief in the outside pocket of the jacket. and fine patent-leather or 2-tone colored shoes. he still makes a statement with his attire. there were so....many people there, trying to dress like mr. morris does!!! I was impressed with how many people nailed his style of dress!!! he gave an awesome performance!! I did not see anyone leave after the show with a disappointed face!!! everyone left with smiling faces, and their bodies still in dance-mode!!!!!
Great show but waaaay too long ! 7 acts all singing their hits in one night is too much. It was easily a 7 hour show (and we left early because the chairs just got too uncomfortable). It was good seeing the groups still perform but that should have been divided in some way. I thought Morris Day was the headliner, but Cameo went on last and that should probably be his last show. Overall a decent show but running too long, people get tired and irritated.
My husband is a huge Morris Day fan. He song every song and was almost sharper than Morris. Let me just say everything was COOL!!! We enjoyed the seats, the atmosphere was so condusive to our time. I would love to see more of our generation bands. That was really COOl!!!
The concert was the best as usual. I seen them in Porterville ,ca, in April with the SOS Band, and had to come and see them with Zapp Band.Lot of fun, got to meet Jellybean, sorry I was not able to get a picture at the holiday inn express where the were staying.
AWESOME! C-O-O-L! WONDERFUL! It brought me back good memories. I didn't want it to end. Also, I had a fantastic front row seat that made all special to me, which I took a lot of pictures for that wonderful night.
This was one great show! Can't wait until he returns to Los Angeles. Morris Day had the packed house at The Rose dancing down the aisles and up on the tables. Trust me, you are going to want to be there.
