Telling truths people are scared to admit, Brisbane-based singer-songwriter, Hallie Tait, writes to challenge social norms, share personal experiences and walk in the shoes of outcasts. Going back to basics with an acoustic guitar and haunting vocals, 19 year old Hallie finds her most honest songs best connect with her audiences. Her ability to hide deeper meanings under sarcasm one song, and then be completely blunt and say it like it is the next, is what makes her artistry unique and authentic.

McDermott & North are a folk/indie acoustic duo who draw inspiration from the simplicity of the songs of the 60’s. Inspired heavily by the Beatles and songwriters such as Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Jeff Lynne. You can hear these influences in their catchy melodies coated in beautiful harmonies.
