Award-winning composer and electronic artist Hannah Peel collaborates with virtuosic percussionist Beibei Wang to create an immersive cycle of sound, in tune with the rhythms of nature and human life.
Unfolding a vivid sound-world where electronics meet traditional Chinese instrumentation via bubbling water percussion, temple bells, prepared piano and bending synths. These playful rhythms clip-clop, wobble and surge, in turn both meditative and danceable.
Their new collaborative album, The Endless Dance, journeys through the 24 solar terms of the Chinese calendar. Grounded in ancient ideas yet alive with curiosity and shared freedom. It captures two genre-defying musicians creating newly imagined worlds in joyful, fearless collaboration. As Wang describes it: ‘two women talking in totally different languages that had a wonderful chat.’

Hannah Peel performed spectacularly. I'd never heard of her before the concert, but it was so atmospheric. She's extremely talented and played all her own backings; piano, synth, violin...etc, all at the same time! She also played a music box, which I had only seen in films before. It was very original but worked really well with her songs. I can't say how precious the moment was. I completely wasn't expecting her to be this amazing. Hannah's voice is definitely worth listening to. A 5 star performance and, in my opinion, was better than the main act! Truly beautiful music. I'm sure she'll be famous one day soon.
