Sara has an amazing voice. I'm not sure how such a rich, emotional voice comes out of such a demure frame, but it comes form her socks… Beyond the voice, itself, is the depth with which she uses it - mature beyond her years, with a professionalism that is heard, but hidden by the genuineness of her presence and personality - on and off stage.
Luckily, she accompanied by a virtuoso guitarist, composer and arranger, who still show as much joy in his playing now, as he did as a young in' cutting up the stages with his axe on fire! The incomparable W.G. "Snuffy" Walden. The dulcet and subtle tones of his guitars come right from his heart - which is huge - and compliment not only his own playing - with a wistfulness that keeps him young - but also of his performing partner, Sara.
Together, they can be a two-personed force to be reckoned with, on stage… having as much fun playing for us as we are having watching and listening.
Capsule: I liked the show. :-)
