Kelly Price originally started singing as a toddler at her local church; her first major appearance was with George Michael at Madison Square Garden in 1992. She became the R&B singer and songwriter and originally singed with the Def Soul Label, she was since nominated for 7 Grammy Awards during her career. She's been a backing singer for Mariah Kelly on several of her singles and followed by releasing her debut album 'Soul of a Woman' in 1998. Mariah originally heard her singing back stage at an event and then went on to introduce her to her husband, which began the start of her career in singing. Her first album included her hit single 'Friend of Mine', I wouldn't say that this song or any of her others were majorly memorable in my mind, her music is very outdated now but back in the day she did extremely well. Her voice could be described as very big yet smooth, she knows how to pick the right material to compliment her voice. She has worked with the likes of R. Kelly and The Notorious BIG during her career and many other successful artists. Her voice is mesmerising and when she's performing live everyone’s attention is always on her, it's hard not to be with how huge her voice is.
