Nashville duo Haunted Like Human delves into inspired songwriting, sparse arrangements, and frisson-inducing harmonies that mark their music. With a background in poetry and prose, Dale Chapman's granular focus on language is simpatico with Cody Clark’s background in classical guitar, where each note carries its own weight. Limned with nostalgia, soaked in Southern gothic lore, the duo meticulously assembles songs to preserve the spirit of the stories they tell.

The songs of Glorieta Pines are inspired by the happenings of the world as seen through the lens of the American Southwest. The quartet, comprised of Brian Nelson (guitars, percussion), Lindsay Taylor (mandolin, tenor guitar, flutes, fiddle), Karina Wilson (fiddle), and Todd Lovato (bass) combines insightful songwriting, layered arrangements, and tight vocal harmonies, achieving a unique blend of indie-acoustic music with a side of old-time fiddle tune. Glorieta Pines originated in 2020 as a duo between spouses Lindsay Taylor and Brian Nelson, with early performances including official virtual concerts for both the Brighton Fringe and Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2021. The addition of Karina Wilson on fiddle in June of 2022, and Todd Lovato in 2025, saw the polished arrangements and vocal harmonies of the duo format expand, with extended instrumental sections and deeper sonic textures.
