Die Prinzen are definitely in their own category when it comes to the genre that they endorse. They are pretty much a rock band, but they are an a capella group at the same time, surprising audiences all over the world with their impressive harmonies, and their adventurous slant on music, securing their place in music internationally.
Tonight they grace the stage with their music, filling the atmosphere in a big way with this audience singing along and dancing. There are a lot of counter melodies in their music, and it’s amazing that they do it this well when they perform live. I’ve got to say, their image is quite comedic, especially with the colour of Wolfgang Lenk’s hair, which is literally yellow, and the sequin shirt isn’t helping matters either, but none the less they still have these skills to this day, singing in their native German language, making audiences dance all over the world. Their last song this evening “Alles nur geklaut” which makes the audience go absolutely wild with the "Ohh's" and "Ahh's" in participation.
