Rocket from the Crypt are an interesting band to say the least. They are a punk rock group from the Crypt, if you didn't guess by the name. They originally started in 1989 and broke up in 2005 for a brief stint. They became very well known from their release called 'Scream, Dracula, Scream!' in 1995. When the group broke up they all became involved in different projects, which kept them apart, but in 2011 the group rejoined for a TV appearance and decided to start another tour in 2013. The band, although slightly outdated in my opinion with their looks and some of their songs, are a group that I unexpectedly enjoyed seeing. They like many other punk rock groups show a lot of energy and enthusiasm in their performances but I can't quite put my finger on why I enjoyed these guys so much more. They really engaged with the audience and got everyone excited and lively for the show, the atmosphere was electric and it's hard to forget an experience like that. Something worth checking out for any punk rock fans because I think although they’ve been around for quite a while, they definitely still have it and can engage any sized venue.
