Most metal bands secure a huge cult following, maintain a level of success over the years, some of them making it into the mainstream and lapping it up. This band is one of those who seem content with where they are sitting in the music industry with their brand of heavy metal. They go by the name of Ram and open up the proceedings tonight with the crash of thunder accompanying their opening chord. They have huge theatrics to match their huge sound. Hailing from Gothenburg in Sweden, the English singing band take this audience by storm with their fast guitar riffs and pinch harmonics. Their signature dueling solos to rival their contemporaries, Dragonforce, bring this house down, making the hordes of metal fans erupt into circle pits and a pretty memorable wall of death that was just fun to watch from the sidelines. The title track from the album “Lightbringer” is definitely the best received track.
