Paul Rodgers, recognize the name? Yeah so did I before I went to watch him play. Upon his entrance to the stage I realized who he is. He is in fact the former singer of a band called “Free”, which of course can only mean one thing – he is in fact the writer of the hit single “All Right Now”. He is definitely one of those artists who was at the forefront of the wave of British bands that went over to America only to achieve some fantastic success and gain such amazing critical acclaim that quite possibly made them bigger over there than over here. Paul Rodgers is one of those singers who has the most amazing tenor rock vocal range that has got him so far in his musical career. He even ranked at #55 on Rolling Stones “Greatest Singers of All Time”. Quite an accolade that becomes very apparent when he performs live. His charisma exudes from him as he commands this crowd throughout a set that people will be talking about for months to come, probably until he comes back to this town!
