Back in the heyday of live music at The Pop Factory, these walls shook. Teen Spirit nights drew crowds from across the Valleys for the kind of raw, guitar-driven energy that's still in the building's bones. On Friday 17 July, we're bringing that spirit back.
The Rock Factory is a live music night with a purpose. Every ticket sold, every drink poured, goes towards our campaign to buy Welsh Hills Works and secure it as a community space for good.
Headlining the night is Chroma. An alt-rock trio from the heart of South Wales, Pontypridd, Chroma have become one of the most exciting bands to come out of Wales in a generation. Fresh off the back of their recently released album '25 Forever', the trio has banked previous and prestigious live shows at Reading and Leeds Festival, BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend, and 2000 Trees, with dates across Europe and beyond, including New Zealand, South Korea, and SXSW in Austin, Texas. In June 2024 they supported the Foo Fighters to 20,000 people at Manchester's Emirates Old Trafford.
