Dan Whitehouse marks the release of his new album Only Love with a spectacular hometown launch at Birmingham's Glee Club.
Joining Dan for this unique evening will be special guests including pianist David O'Brien (Geneva), whose playing features on the album, award-winning poet Jasmine Gardosi, percussionist Alex Lowe and long-time collaborator, Danish multi-instrumentalist Gustaf Ljunggren.
An award-winning artist living between Tokyo and Wolverhampton, Dan Whitehouse is a singer-songwriter, composer, producer and spoken-word performer whose work moves effortlessly between folk, ambient, indie and contemporary song.
His acclaimed albums The Glass Age and Voices From The Cones explored the fractures and connections of our digital world and the heritage of Black Country glassmaking communities. With Only Love, Whitehouse turns his attention to fatherhood, human connection and resilience, drawing on the experience of living between continents while his young son grows up in Japan.
Expect an immersive evening of songs, stories, poetry and musical collaboration as Dan and his guests bring Only Love to life for the first time.
