World-renowned lyric tenor Benjamin Bernheim—called “the most beautiful tenor voice since Luciano Pavarotti” by Süddeutsche Zeitung and “simply stunning” by Le Monde—performs as soloist in the song cycle Les nuis d’été (Summer Nights). The concert opens with Berlioz’s popular first orchestral work: the surviving overture from his discarded opera Les francs-juges.
