The Groovy Cellar and Special Guest Anna Suhr

In 1991, mastermind Olaf Schumacher—until then the singer and songwriter for the Most Wanted Men—formed THE GROOVY CELLAR. Named after a Neo Sixties club in London in the early ’80s, the name more than hints at the band’s musical direction. In 1996, the band’s debut album, *MacArthur Lane*, was released on the Hamburg-based label Marsh-Marigold. It featured top-notch twee pop anthems such as “The Silly Season” and “The Summer of Falling Stars”.
30 years after its release, the band is performing the entire album together with special guest ANNA SUHR.
