HALF LIGHT brings together four artists working at the intersection of sound, image and perception. Conceived as a single, continuous experience rather than a series of individual concerts, the programme invites audiences to experience the evening as a unified arc.
Italian composer Abul Mogard and Brazilian visual artist Marja de Sanctis present the A/V premiere of a new work evolving from the critically acclaimed album Quiet Pieces, where slow-moving electronic textures, archival fragments and moving images unfold into a vast spatial experience.
Ibero-American artist Rafael Anton Irisarri presents a solo performance built from bowed guitar, towering harmonics and reverberant drones, drawn from his latest work, Points of Inaccessibility, to explore the paradox of disconnection in an age of constant connectivity, culminating in moments of profound catharsis.
Opening the evening, Mexican sound artist Concepción Huerta presents her latest live performance, embracing the enduring allure of magnetic tape and its poetic possibilities. Through feedback, filtering and layered sonic fragments, she reveals sound as a physical medium.

One of my all time favourite artists, I was very happy to finally see him live. Small, unassuming venue with a surprisingly powerful wall of sound. At times the show was almost overwhelming -- so much emotion and nuance to these rolling samples. Absolute pleasure to behold!
