Taking some time off from his tour with Crack Cloud, drummer Mike Wallace (Preoccupations/Women) brings his anarchistic, dystopian electro-punk to Birmingham!

As well as being the powerhouse drummer behind 2 of the most important post-punk bands of modern times, Mike is a creative force in his own right. Infused with teen-vandal spray paint energy and delivered as a bombastic experimental package, CITIZENRY showcases Wallace's raw and uninhabited energy. The project combines late 80s gothy cyberpunk with experimental 90s electro.

Based in Toronto ON, CITIZENRY spans influences and dynamics that range from punchy dance tracks reminiscent of electro pioneers The Chemical Brothers and Prodigy, to a more modern approach influenced by the likes of Holy Fuck and Sextile.
