Dave Alvin y Jimmie Dale Gilmore

Great show at the Kessler in Dallas. Every time I see Alvin, I feel like I’ve forgotten how good he is and love the rediscovery. Even the songs I’ve heard before feel exciting, as if it’s a new discovery. A great talent that I never miss if he comes close.

On Nov. 8, 2017, the Texas Troubadours project brought Ruthie Foster, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, and Carrie Rodriguez − three of the Lone Star State's finest — together at Vancouver’s Chan Centre for the Arts. A most memorable night of music.
