There are not a lot of places that you can go to a nice nightclub and have live music that isn’t some raucous dance party. I’m talking about the classy, everyone is dressed up, enjoying a nice meal and watching a great singer and a big band behind him or her. However, Tony Christie has been managing to keep this tradition alive.
Sveltely dressed in a clean cut white blazer and sheen black slacks with a bow tie to bring it all together, Tony comes onto stage from behind a gold curtain as the band starts to play. Armed with a smile and a microphone, Tony is the epitome of class and style. His voice transports you to another time, a time where maturity wasn’t just an act; it was a normal thing that occurred in all people. The audience members become so energized and erupt in applause as soon as he starts to sing, and immediately after the song finishes. The crowd is full of people of all ages, and everyone seems to enjoy the music. By the end of the show everyone is standing on their feet applauding, even long after he has taken his leave from the stage.
