Aurally and visually energetic as well as narrative, that is how a live gig by The Robots Are Coming can be described best. Through the use of hardware synthesizers, drum machines, guitars, and vocals TRAC will perform songs from their debut album ‘2095’. during their live performance.
Raw and sometimes funky bass lines, glitchy melodies and banging beats characterize the sound of TRAC and will ensure a very wide-ranging vibe.
The electronic duo consists of Roi de Bruijn and Stefan Werdekker; two born and raised in Tilburg, The Netherlands. They describe their musical style as cinematic electro. During their show TRAC will take the audience to the year 2095, an era where Mankind has been declared useless due to the arrival of new, self-developed and artificial life forms: The Robots. How does Mankind cope with an increasingly impersonal civilization where authenticity is rare and nostalgic longings for the past increase.
Musical influences of the electro-duo include genres such as French Electro, Progressive House, Soundtracks and Funk. Equipment and production techniques from the '80s and '90s inspire the hybrid method the duo employs in the studio.
Both members of TRAC are concert enthusiasts and know what an audience wants to experience during a live performance. Therefore they ambition is to give their all to make every gig an unforgettable experience for both themselves as the crowd.
