Twin Peaks

There's a reason these guys are my favorite band.

If you want music that screams "FEEL GOOD" and "SUMMER" at you without feeling limp or sounding like indie, try Twin Peaks, you will have no regrets about it. This is garage rock narrowed and refined, pulling inspiration from the great rock legends of old and forging ahead in their own fashion. You can't help but smile when listening to their songs; I know, I've tried.

For the most part, their live performance was up to snuff with their recordings. "Sweet Thing" was a little sketchy, but otherwise, they were tremendous. Very laid back, very energetic, these guys could honestly get a cemetery to dance if they tried.

If these guys come to your town, do yourself a favor and catch them. Maybe it's not the most complex or sophisticated of music, but it is a good time, I guarantee it.
