Pure Groove started life as a record shop in Archway, North London in 1989. Needing a bigger space, the shop relocated to West Smithfields in June 2008. A refurbishment at the start of 2009 transformed the space into what is now primarilly a cafe, which hosts a huge variety of live music instores, all for free, most days of the week. The shop sells beers, teas, coffees, juices and a selection of records and merchandise. Instores are always free and all ages, and typically start at either 1.15 or 6.30.
